Mallory was an English mountain climber who participated in the Everest expeditions of 1921, 1922, and 1924. The 1924 expedition culminated in a bold and possibly successful drive toward the summit by Mallory and Andrew Irvine, from which they did not return. Royal Ascot (2019)

The racecourse on Ascot Heath in Berkshire, England, is the site of a world-famous horse race that was initiated in 1711 by Queen Anne. The Royal Ascot race meeting goes on for four days in June each year and culminates in the event known as the Ascot Gold Cup.
