Clonorchis sinensis

The Oriental liver fluke, Clonorchis sinensis, is a parasitic worm that may be acquired by eating raw, undercooked, pickled, salted, or smoked fish. The fluke exists in a dormant stage in the skin of a fish and is unable to continue its life cycle until ingested by a warm-blooded animal, in which the larvae mature and produce eggs. Founding of The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints (1830)

Shortly after Joseph Smith published the Book of Mormon in 1830, he officially founded The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints—also known as the Mormon Church—in Fayette, New York. He gained considerable success with the quartet he formed with Chet Baker in 1952, and he led ensembles of various sizes thereafter. Mulligan served jail time after he was arrested in 1953 for what? Founding of the Church of Latter-Day Saints (2017)

April 6, 1830 is the day on which Joseph Smith formally established the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints (also known as Mormons) in Fayette, New York. Three years later the anniversary of the Church's founding was celebrated for the first time; in 1837, a general conference was held to conduct church business and to observe the anniversary. Eventually the idea of holding an annual conference became an established custom, and it was always scheduled to encompass the April 6 founding date. More...

Workaholics Have Higher Heart Risk

People who work 10 to 11 hours per day have a 45 percent higher risk of suffering a heart attack or dying from heart disease than people who work a standard 7-hour or 8-hour day; and those who work an average of 11 or more hours a day actually have a 67 percent higher risk. While the extra work alone might not increase heart risk, working long hours may be an indicator of an unhealthy lifestyle in general and could point to risk factors such as stress, lack of exercise, and poor diet.
